Yes, NSHM Kolkata is good as it offers one of the best placements to students. The top companies taking part in the placement drive at NSHM Kolkata are Amazon, TCS, HDFC Bank, Zee TV, Aaj Tak, and others. The college infrastructure is also very good. The college faculty is experienced and are PhD, diploma, and various degree holders. The college is ranked 10 in the Top 14 East B-Schools by the Times Magazine’s recent research survey on India’s Best B-Schools for 2023, 41 in the Top 50 Private Institutes as per the Times Magazine’s recent research survey on India’s Best B-Schools for 2023, and others.

The institute has given weightage to all the sections in CAT cut-off for the final shortlisting of the students. For General category candidates, the minimum CAT overall percentile is 90. This is relaxed for reserved category students and stands at 81 percentile for NC-OBC category students and 60 for SC, ST and PwD students. However, for final admisison, there is only an overall cutoff. For General category candidates, minimum CAT percentile is 90. This will be relaxed for category students as per the Government of India norms.

The selection of candidates for admission to the MBA programme at VGSoM (IIT Kharagpur) is a two-step procedure. Applicants, who are shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria are called for WAT and online Personal Interview (PI). BTech aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE Main through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) i.e., (nta.ac.in). Followed by JEE Main, students are required to register for JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main 2026 application number and password. Next candidates have to fill in the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee.
