Hello Aryan,I will suggest you to wait until the 3rd phase of counselling.
HIT is going to be autonomous which is going to boost, placement and academic performances. This year, HIT has done a tremendous performance, approx. all the students of CSE are placed in reputed companies like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, TCS and many more.

Definitely, you are eligible as the eligibility criteria to get biotechnology in SXC is passed 10+2 with 60%+ 60% in Biology / Biotechnology & 60% in Chemistry.

NITs does not offer admission in B.Tech courses through lateral entry mode. The JEE-Main exam is the only way for NIT's B.Tech courses.
