Virohan - TBI - KIET offers merit-based admission to its BVoc courses. To get admission candidates are required to fill out the eligibility criteria. The basic eligibility criteria set by the college for all the courses is completing their Class 12 from a recognised board. The college offers seats to the candidates based on the last qualifying exam score.

Candidates are allowed to get admission to the BTech course at Tecno India University without JEE Mains. If the students do not have valid scores in JEE Mains, then they have to secure good scores in the TNJEE entrance examination. JEE (main) ranks have a limited number of seats available (10% of total seats). However, to get admission with JEE main rank, candidates must attend WBJEE counselling. Candiates can also apply for counselling in many other states, such as Gujarat, MP, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra all use the JEE (mains) score to determine admission.
