On August 8, 2011, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication Aizawl, or IIMC Aizawl, was officially opened as the East Regional Centre of IIMC. Numerous international, national, and regional news agencies, including Reuters, WION, PTI, The Times of India, The Indian Express, Mathrubhumi, and Malayala Manorama, employ IIMC Aizawl students. Yes, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Science and Technology accept CBSE 12th score.

The eligibility criteria is that a candidate should have atleast 45% aggregate in 12th .

The admission to the institute is entrance based. Candidates are offered admission to B.E. courses in the institute on the basis of the scores obtained in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET which is a state level entrance test. 

Entrance exam required for M.E Admission: Andhra Pradesh EAMCET and GATE.

Entrance exam required for MBA Admission: Andhra Pradesh ICET.

The institute gives weightage to 12th score in the admission to the various courses offered by the institute.

UEM Kolkata accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to its B.Tech program:

  1. IEMJEE: 10+2 score with 60% 
  2. JEE Main: Qualifying score
  3. WBJEE: Qualifying score

The university conducts the IEMJEE exam for admission into B.Tech, BBA, BCA, and MCA programs. The IEMJEE is conducted in both online and offline modes. To get admission to the B.Tech programme at UEM Kolkata, candidates are expected to have a rank between 7654 and 39750 in IEMJEE. The total tuition fees for the B.Tech programme at UEM Kolkata range between INR 5.6 Lacs and INR 5.9 lakhs.
