Yes, you could get a call from IISWBM Kolkata with an overall percentile of 55% in CAT. According to the IISWBM CAT cutoff 2024, the qualifying percentile was 50.35 for the Gender-Neutral All India categories. The CAT cutoffs in 2024 and 2023 were also 50.35.
Students should know that the institute does not release the CAT cutoff publicly. The cutoff is only available by account login to those candidates who appear in the CAT exam. Hence, the cutoff data is based on previous years' trends, and the actual one might vary.

The placement rate for MBBS was closely the same during 2021 and 2022 placements. On the other hand, a fluctuating trend was observed in the placement rate of PG (3-year) courses. Refer to the below table for Kasturba Medical College Manipal placement rate trends:
| Course | Placement Rate (2021) | Placement Rate (2022) | Placement Rate (2023) |
|---|---|---|---|
| MBBS | 88% | 89% | N/A |
| PG (3-year) | 87% | 96% | 86% |
NOTE: The above placement percentage is calculated from the data given in the NIRF report 2024.
