To apply for NIT Durgapur MBA admission, candidates must visit the official website of the institute to register themselves. NIT Durgapur offers admission to the MBA course on the basis of a valid CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT entrance test scores. Eligible candidates are called for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI). Once the selection rounds are over, the institute releases a merit list of selected candidates. Such candidates are required to confirm their seat by paying the programme fee.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 55% aggregate in PCB or PCM are eligible to take admission. In addition, the students with 80% and above aggregate in Class 12 (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards) are exempted from the selection process. Amity University Kolkata offers merit-based admission to most of the UG courses. For courses like BTech and BArch, admission is entrance exam-based. Hence, JEE Main/ Amity JEE exam scores are acceptable for admission to BTech programmes and NATA for BArch. However, the final selection of the students is based on merit/ entrance exam scores followed by an English Language Test and GDPI.
