There are two hostels in our college, one located outside the campus which is about 800m away and the other one is inside the campus. As there are numerous colleges and schools located in the area of our college, there are good number of PG's located in the area. And also a free government hostel is located for the students who can't afford the fees, which is located about 1.5 km away from the college. I can't assure that every PG's located in the area are good but there are some good PG's located in the area.

The placements are good at UEM Kolkata. The University offers good annual placements for various courses like BTech, MBA and MCA, etc. As per the latest report, the participating recruiters selected 1,559 students of the  Engineering and Management department in new-age job roles. For admission to MBA (or PGP) at IIM Calcutta, the CAT test 2025 was conducted on November 30, 2025. Aspirants of IIM Calcutta are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam will be held in three slots:

• Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
• Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.
