He can pursue BCA even after studying commerce in class 12th. Actually, the eligibility for BCA varies college to college. Like some Universities make Mathematics or Computer Science as compulsory for getting admission. However, some Universities just need a minimum aggregate percentage in class 12th.

You can continue through correspondence. Visit the website of he respective university through which you want to continue. Many open universities like IGNOU, UOU have better system for continuing education.

For gaming you don't need Maths and commerce. Commerce with IT or similar vocational subject would be a good choice. Making passion as livelihood is good but you can make it secondary priority.

Yes, the eligibility criteria for hotel management programmes is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. Therefore having commerce stream would not affect. Definitely, you can apply, but having maths would have been better, you can apply in some private colleges and some government colleges which actually accept such qualifications, but not in all.
