Minimum Competency Vocational Courses (MCVC) are offered by various universities in the subjects such as : Accounting and Auditing. Marketing and Salesmanship. Tourism and Travel Techniques etc. These are options available to students beside Science, Humanities or Commerce stream at graduation degree level. These are job oriented graduation degree courses.

You are advised to do BCA-MCA to become software engineer. if you had Maths as a subject in 10+2 stage then you are eligible to seek admission in all BCA colleges, else your choice of institute will be limited.

The grant and non-grant are regarding the course. The course which is aided by the goverment is called grant and the course which is done privately one is a non-grant course.
B.Com is a grant course.

Hi Shweta,
There is no such restriction at changing the stream. You can get admission in science stream and appear for your HSC exam again.
