To prepare for your CS exam, you need to follow the following:
1. Draft a schedule and stick to it.
2. Focus on your modules first rather than referring to thousands of other supplementary books.
3. Coaching and tuition classes help keep you motivated, ease and simplify your preparation but it may not stand true for each and all. You may or may not personally require coaching as per your level of intellect.

Don't refer any authors books for CA/CS/CMA.
Better to study institute books, it's enough.
And refer revision test papers it is available in official website. And better to do mock test papers for final exam.

Hi Hartej,
For CSE, average package is around INR. 7 lacs - INR. 9 lacs and that of ECE is around INR. 5 lacs - INR. 6 lacs. Enough data is not provided by the college, but the highest package of 2017 was 40 lacs and placement record each year is more than 85%. Hope it helps.
