With a KCET rank of 52,000 for BE Computer Science & Engineering, getting into top Karnataka colleges (like RVCE, PES, BMSCE, MSRIT) is highly unlikely, as these usually require ranks within top 1,000–3,000.

You can consider:

  • Lower-tier NITs/Private colleges in Karnataka

  • State colleges with available CSE seats in later counselling rounds

  • Other branches like ECE, IT, or Mechanical as backup.

Top colleges (CEG, PSG, MIT Chennai): Require very high marks and ranks (cutoff 198+ out of 200; ranks below 1,500).

Mid-tier colleges: Cutoffs around 192–197; ranks between 3,000 to 10,000+.

Other colleges: Lower cutoffs (170–190) and ranks from 10,000 up to 80,000+ offer seats in many private/self-financing colleges.

Now choice is yours choose accordingly and best of luck for your future

Based on your cutoff of 172.93, you have a chance to get admission in some of the reputed engineering colleges offering B.Tech CSE in TNEA counselling. However, admission to any college depends primarily on the availability of seats, competition from other applicants, and reservation criteria for different categories. Here are some of the colleges you can consider applying to:
1. PSG College of Technology
2. SSN College of Engineering
3. Thiagarajar College of Engineering
4. Coimbatore Institute of Technology
5. Kumaraguru College of Technology
6. Sri Sairam Engineering College
7. St. Joseph's College of Engineering. Please note that t
