Being an alumni of LPU I had lot of friends in CSE stream so I had an idea about the B.Tech CSE. Computer Science and Information Technology are one of the most evergreen professions and will continue to rise in the years to come. Hi, It's so typical Shakespearen dilemma "to be or not to be", "CSE or ECE". If you ask me, both these branches have good potential and students get placed after completion of the engineering course. Of course presently CSE definitely has an edge as it is still an expanding scope in India as well as worldwide, but then there are many more students who pass out with this branch as compared with students passing out from ECE. Be that as it may, I would strongly recommend that you choose the branch which you feel you like and not with the intention of getting good pay. Dear Ben, Well, there can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest. No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. SEE there are enough jobs for every stream, what a company need is quality engineers, SO if you are dead serious for your better future and giving parallel dedication towards it, you will definitely going to succeed. Every organisation or company requires to be present digitally, be it banks, hospitals, education, or railways. Computer Science and Information Technology are one of the most evergreen professions and will continue to rise in the years to come.
