The admission process of GEC Guindy is given below. Admission Process : The admission notice is published in all the leading news papers and in the University website. The admission of students to all the programmes is through a Single Window Admission System, administered by Anna University also called TNEA. The higher secondary marks are scaled to 200, based on which the merit list/ ranks are released. Counseling is conducted based upon the ranking. TNEA 2021 Application Form can be filled by the students through online mode generally from the first week of May 2022.

If interested in doing CSE or ECE courses, than you can get the following options also during the JEE Main counselling.
1. IIIT Guwahati (CSE)
2. IIITM Gwalior (IT)
3. NIT Hamirpur (Integrated M.Tech ECE)
4. BIT Mesra (ECE)
5. NIT Uttarakhand (ECE)
6. NIT Patna (ECE)
7. IIIT Raichur (CSE)
8. IIIT Kotak (CSE)

Hi, It's so typical Shakespearen dilemma "to be or not to be", "CSE or ECE". If you ask me, both these branches have good potential and students get placed after completion of the engineering course. Of course presently CSE definitely has an edge as it is still an expanding scope in India as well as worldwide, but then there are many more students who pass out with this branch as compared with students passing out from ECE.
