Hi.All companies have a CGPA cutoff when they come to college placements and internships. Most companies keep a cutoff of ≥7. A score above 8.5–9.0 is preferred for top-tier companies.

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students must possess a blend of foundational and modern technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C+), Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management (SQL), Operating Systems, and Networking, Knowledge of Cloud Computing, Web Development, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Version Control (Git) etc.

Thanks

Yes, the CSE branch at Lovely Professional University offers good placement opportunities, especially for students who develop strong coding skills and practical project experience. Many IT companies visit the campus each year, offering roles such as software developer, data analyst, cloud engineer, and cybersecurity specialist. Average packages are moderate, while top performers receive significantly higher offers. The university provides placement training, coding practice, internships, and mock interviews to improve employability. Overall, placement outcomes depend largely on individual skills, consistency, and preparation.
