If you are serious about getting admission to a Polytechnic college for CSE, I recommend that you apply to a variety of colleges. This will give you a better chance of getting admission. You should also start preparing for the state-level Polytechnic entrance exam as soon as possible. The state-level Polytechnic entrance exam is a separate entrance exam that is conducted by each state for admission to Polytechnic colleges in that state.

Here is the criteria to enrolled in the course

Candidate must have passed ME/ M.Tech/MS by Research/5 year integrated Masters/Dual Degree in relevant Engineering/2 year M.Sc from IITs (entry through JAM) with CGPA 8.0 and above. BS+MS (5 year integrated) from CFTI with the areas of specialisation required:

Machine learning, Information Security, Image Processing, VLSI & Embedded system, Computer Networking, IoT

No Entrance Test needed.

Every year Cutoff changes due to many factors like the total number of students appearing for exams, difficulty level, etc factors. Now based on the cutoffs of last year the cutoff for ECE in Vishnu Institute of Technology and Sciences for ECE is 1814, so for your rank you can get a seat in VIT.
