Yes, you can take direct admission in BTech CSE at the Main Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow under the management quota if you meet the basic eligibility of passing 10+2 with Physics, Maths, and one additional subject like Chemistry or Computer Science. It's best to contact the college directly to know about seat availability and admission process.

Yes, direct admission seats in CSE (Computer Science Engineering) are available in many private colleges and deemed universities, especially under management quota. Availability depends on the college, your marks, and when you apply. Some popular colleges fill up early, so apply quickly.

Tough one. SRM KTR (Chennai) usually closes CSE around rank 2,000, and for CS-related branches, maybe a bit higher. But with rank 24,000, getting core CSE or even CS-related specializations at KTR is very unlikely. You'll have better chances at other SRM campuses like NCR, Ramapuram, or Vadapalani for CS or IT branches.

To get into BML Munjal for B.Tech CSE, you'll need at least 60% in your Class 12 boards (with PCM + English) and a JEE Main percentile of 55 or above. But realistically, if you want to be safe, aim for over 60 percentile. They also consider CUET and BMU-SAT scores, so you've got options. The cutoff isn't insanely high, but the competition is picking up each year.

With 981/1000 in intermediate, consider these government engineering colleges:

- *IITs, NITs, and other colleges*: Check JEE Main/Advanced cutoffs

- *AI/ML colleges*: Like JNTUHCEH (TS EAMCET cutoff rank 55728-151482)

Focus on:

- *JEE Main/TS EAMCET*: Perform well

- *Class 12 marks*: For direct admission in some colleges like SASTRA University's Stream 2.

There are not very good chances to get NIT with CSE branch at 47K rank in JEE mains,

But you can try for IIIT

Following IIITs may offer you, CSE branch with the rank of 47K:

IIIT Bhopal, IIIT Ranchi, IIIT Bhagalpur,  IIIT Manipur, IIIT Lucknow, IIIT Una

You haven't mentioned any specific college whose cutoff ranks you want to know, so the information is provided on the basis of good  B Tech colleges which offers Computer Science Engineering branch because the rank varies depending on the institutions competency. Usually the closing rank for top IITs like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi or IIT Madras closes lower than 150. While for newer & low cutoff colleges like IIT Bhilai IIT Goa the rank ranges from 3000-6000, whereas for NITs it goes a little low high between 10,000-15,000.

For a B.Tech in Computer Science (CSE), Mahindra University is generally considered a better option than South Asian University, particularly for students interested in a strong foundation in modern CS fields and future opportunities in the US for MS programs. While both are reputable institutions, Mahindra University offers a more industry-focused curriculum and better placement prospects.
