You have indeed raised a very pertinent and interesting query. Computer Science is the prime source of placements these days. We keep hearing astronomical packages for students of this profession. But then not everyone is lucky. On the other hand, data Science or data analytics is the emerging specialization. It existed earlier also but there was no formal training. It has perhaps the widest applicability in our lives. All e-commerce companies, political parties, finance companies etc. In view of foregoing I can confidently say that it's the data Science that has great future

Hello Geetanjali,
You have a nice percentage in state board exam. You are a BIPC student, better to go for biology felid, not computers. If you are interested in computers, then get an idea on programming, then only you can get a specific value on that degree. Without the knowledge in computers, you can suffer lot of problems.

It differ from university to university.
Some university also take admission of commerce students, but if you don't have Maths background in class 12th, it might be little difficult, but if you can catch up that, I think a commerce student can also apply for BCA course.
