No, the eligibility for MCA is any graduate who has passed or appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (science, commerce, arts or engineering from any approved university) is eligible to apply. Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation.

B.Tech degree will give you more practical exposure and regarding your choice of Cyber security expert then I would like to suggest you that after graduation, if you opt for Masters then that will be more beneficial.

Eligibility:
B.Sc (Hons.) Computer Science (10+2+3 scheme) and B.Tech Computer Science (10+2+4 scheme) from University of Delhi or any other University
Minimum Percentage Required: 60% marks in aggregate
OR
B.Sc. Applied Physical Sciences with Mathematics and Computer Science / B.Sc.(G) Mathematical Sciences, (10+2+3 scheme) with Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Delhi or any other University
Minimum Percentage Required: 60% marks in the aggregate with 60% marks in Computer Science and Mathematics separately

For lateral entry, a student must have passed 10+2 and have done a computer course of minimum 6 months duration. Students with a three year Diploma in IT from State Board of Technical Education are also eligible for lateral entry to BCA programme.
