For becoming a software engineer you should complete your degree or Diploma or with equivalent course in computer science or information science. But for ethical hacking there is separate course for it you can do online or offline course as suitable. Following is the link for some ethical hacking certified colleges in India:

You should have technical knowledge, knowledge of using Linux and programming knowledge. It would be better to join any engineering college if you are interested and simultaneously join any online or offline course whatever you are comfortable with and enjoy hacking but in an ethical way.

Guide-Level 13

Computer engineering has very good career option, mainly in private sector. IT sector has also great demand for CS branch as it is only focuses on technical field. The major recruiters of CS engineers are ISRO, DRDO, ONGC, BHEL, etc. They recruit on basis of GATE score card. But ISRO AND DRDO have their own exam for jobs for different post. Have some extra knowledge too because it helps you to show more your talent to the interviewers also. The IT sector is all based on CSE only and they are increasing day by day for to invent new technology as well.
