Eligibility of the Master of Computer Applications MCA. Graduation in any stream is the basic eligibility for MCA. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Most of the institutes require 45% to 50 % aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage. Apart from this, there is another prerequisite for taking admission in MCA degree; one must have studied Mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject.

Hi,
Most of the MNCs or SMEs they recruit candidates who have done their Masters from Distance Mode. However, it depends company to company. What I have heard if this is a recognised Distance university or Institute then there is no problem but there are certain institutes they are not in white list according to their own policy. If possible, please check with HR dept first or your Line manager.

Hello Vinit,
It is like deciding whether you want to be Master of one trade or jack of all trades? MCA will enhance your technical skills only and will be helpful in research field if you show interest and then you will be competent. MBA IT can be a good option for you and hence you are from IT field your Technical Knowledge will be unskilled with managerial knowledge and then you have great opportunities for climbing up the ladders early. It completely depends on your liking hence choose your career based on your Cope and Interest level.
Best of luck.
