IGNOU is one of the oldest and recognised. You can also check out Annamalai, Karnataka State Open University, YCMOU etc but before doing so email some universities abroad to check if they will accept correspondence degree. Many universities do but you will also come across universities which will prefer a full-time degree.

Hi Anusha, chances of visa will depend on your overall profile and where you plan to study. First you must get the admission offer from an University and Evey university's admission requirements are different. Many universities will suggest you retake your IELTS or they can offer you a bridge course. There are countries like Canada and US where three year degree is not accepted so you have to first decide where you want to study and meet admission requirements of the concerned University.Visa comes later.
