Six Sigma helps in reducing risks to improve business processes, bringing in efficiency in operations. A Project Management Professional (PMP) works on project deliverables with deadlines. Both are necessary for business models and organisations to work efficiently. However, Six Sigma supports more of an operational role, while PMP certification is primarily for building your career in project management.
