Before starting career in software industry, I would like to ask you, are you very much confident on any of the programming language. Can you independently handle any language?
If your answer is yes, then only think for software development line or testing line.
Every line is good, it depends upon you how much depth knowledge you have. As far as salary is concerned, it depends upon you, how tactfully and technically you have cleared your interview not upon the degree or certificate you have.
