BCA per se is not a standard education in the field of IT. Majority Indian IT companies prefer BTech CSE or MCA. With BCA you will pick up job in small companies and after few years experience, you may able to move to major IT companies.

The requirement for pg diploma is bachelor's degree + IELTS of 6/ Toefl 80 above. If you hv Gmat/Gre score its good.
I would suggest you to select the colleges first, check their individual requirement as Canada is provincial in nature so independent too. See how much you can afford to pay( 15000 to 20000) and then write to them.

Bca is preferable as it is professional degree course and it gives exposure to higher studies as well as job. although student should go for mca before entering the job. bcom is a degree course. student having passion for bcom should go for it along with CA. it is also a good option.
