Shalini, yes you may get lateral entry into second year on animation degree. Although since you'd be new to animation the entire course must get covered in the 2 years, so do check with the institute about that. Also you must hurry since the admissions may close anytime (for e.g. at Arena chandigarh it closes on 10 Sep). If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field.
