No, there is no relationship of any course for banking except your course comes under their eligibility criteria.
Yes, I will be a good decision since this sector is not dependent on your course. you just have to give IBPS/Exam for individual banks and get good score, thats it.
You also can then pursue MBA for getting promotions or switching to other banks.
Avg salary of a Bank cleark is 2.5 lakh per annum
Avg salary of a Bank PO is 4.2 lakh per annum.

Dear sree, yes this will affect your career for top MNC but there will be no problem for some Local firms to recruit you. Once you gain some 3-4 years experience then no one will pay attention to your gap.
Well you haven't mentioned whether you were doing diploma or degree in engineering.
If Diploma them I would request you to complete your diploma and then enroll directly in II year of BCA
If Degree then if possible try to complete it . If not possible then don't think about things which are out of your hand.
go for BCA, whether MNC will consider your gap or not , that should not end your career and further study. There is no end of study

*General Eligibility Criteria:-
Aspirants who have done their BCA, BBA or B.Tech can apply for the MCA course. Students who have finished their graduation in science can also apply. These students must have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 10+2. There is no age limit regarding the admission to this course.
*Academic Eligibility Criteria:-
Students who would like to join the MCA course must have a pass in graduation with more than 60 percent marks.
