The basic eligibility criteria is to pass 12th with Science stream from a recognised board. So, you can pursue B.Sc. In Computer Science. There are other streams as well where you can apply. Since you are from PCB stream, so you can go for medical related fields.

No, a written test (online Computer based test) is the first step if you go for MCA in a prestigious institutes ex. NITs. Otherwise, you can get direct admission to private colleges if seats are available.

Pondicherry University is a good university for pursuing MCA with a decent faculty and curriculum. As for the placements, it largely depends on the performance of the students and the market demand.
