First of all, BCA is 3 years course.
Eligibility Criteria: Students must have Passed Class 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. I can tell from my experience - I did B.Com and then MCA. Only because I had Business Mathematics as a subject in my 2nd year, I was able to get admission for MCA. In our class, 60 candidates were admitted, out of which 6 were non-computer Science background students (from under graduation like B.Com B.Sc. Physics etc. ), and within the 1st semester 4 guys discontinued as they were not able to understand the basic concepts in Computer Science.
