At Amity University, Mohali, no batch has been passed out till now for BCA students, so I can not predict the highest placement package. Chandigarh University, Mohali has many batched passes out for BCA students. University Institute of Computing (UIC), the Best BCA College in India, at Chandigarh University offers an exclusive portfolio of multidisciplinary Computer Application courses that impart students with the capabilities necessary for global competitiveness. The placement records in CU are very good. Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total, there was a jump of 30% in number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70%. .

This would depend on your interest areas and career aspirations. In case, you intend to pursue a career in Technical / research/academics/coding/ analytics/big data area, then MCA is better. However, if you want to move into general management, MBA is better.
