BCA Admission Process both merit-based and entrance-based admissions. The BCA Eligibility criteria for BCA admission is 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with computer application/science as an additional or core subject.

Also with a category rank of around 8000, it will be hard for you to get a seat in any NITs IIITs and GFTIs for core branches such as CSE, ECE, etc. There are many colleges, in which you can get a swat with 10000 rank in COMEDK for CSE, and very easily for ece. As cse branch have higher cutoff than ece.
