The fact that BCA admits a compartment in Chemistry may impact the situation. It is officially stated that many of the colleges demand passing all the subjects of the 12th standard including Chemistry. Sit and pass compartmental exam to make you eligible. There are cases in which some colleges will allow compartments on a pass-off basis, provided that the student excenses well in other areas such as Mathematics and Computer Science.
