The basic eligibility requirement for the DTU BTech course is pass in Class 12th with a minimum of 60% aggregate. The accepted etrance exams are JEE Main,  JAC Delhi, and others.

The current academic year's hostel fees for GNA University BTech students has not been revealed yet. The hostel fees at GNA University is charged on per semester basis unlike the tuition fees. Last year, the GNA University BTech students were charged INR 45,000 per semester as hostel fees.

There is a 100% tuition fee waiver offered by IIT Bhubaneswar for BTech students belonging to SC/ ST/PwD categories. Students have to submit relevant documents to avail benefits of fee waiver.

VIT Chennai offers BTech course to students at the UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Candidates must be Class 12 passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology with at least 60% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST and applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).

It is quite easy to get into the University of Melbourne due to its good acceptance rate. The University of Melbourne acceptance rate is 77%.

The BE/BTech courses do not have a separate acceptance rate at UMel but a reference can be taken from the overall acceptance rate.
