The minimal eligibility requirements differ for each course offered by DU. For admission to the B.A., B.A. (Hons.) and B.Com. (Hons.) programmes, the candidate must pass the HSC (10+2) with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. The minimum eligibility conditions for admission to the B.Com programme are as follows: the candidate must have completed HSC (10+2) with a minimum aggregate of 40% marks. The minimal eligibility criteria for admission to DU PG courses require candidates to have a bachelor's degree and at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying test. Candidates from the SC/ST/PwD classes are offered a 5% relaxation.

JMI BSc course admission is through CUET, the university also accept admission based on its in-house exam scores for some courses. The studenst preparing for the general test of CUET UG are advised to stay updated with the current affairs by reading the newspapers and magazines. It is also advisable to gather the study materials to prepare for the syllabus of General test and practice questions to become familiar with the type of questions asked in this section.

You still have a few choices for getting into Delhi's colleges and universities even if you didn't apply for the CUET, which is the required entrance exam for the majority of central universities, including DU. Here are a few substitutes:

  • Amity University, Noida
  • IIIT, Delhi
  • Jindal Global Business School, Sonipat
  • Jamia Hamdard
  • Ambedkar University, Delhi
  • GGSIPU

Yes, you can take admission to B.A. LL.B at Assam University, Silchar without CUET. The university offers admission to B.A. LL.B based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination (10+2) as well as the marks in the English subject. The eligibility criteria for admission to B.A. LL.B is 50% of marks in the qualifying examination (10+2) as well as 45% in the English subject.

Manipur University accepts CUET for only two UG programmes: BA in Korean and BEd. Further, the university only offeres three BA course, i.e., Korean language, Dance, and Music. Candidates who wants to apply for the mentioned course can apply directly to MU except for BA in Korean. Thereofore students can  join Manipur University BA programme without CUET.

Manipur University cutoff for UG courses, including BEd and BA Korean is based on CUET UG scores followed by round-wise counselling. As per cutoff 2022, the closing scores after rounds of counselling, stood at 133 for B.A. in Korean for the General Category candidates from All India Quota.
