Hello Vaishali, The CUET 2023 syllabus will be released by the NTA along with the official notification. The syllabus of CUET will be of the same level as that of the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. The common subjects across the different courses of the CUET syllabus are English General Aptitude, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, Analytical Skills, Reasoning and General Knowledge. NTA has released a subject-wise syllabus which students must refer to while preparing for the exam. CUET is an entrance exam conducted by NTA. There are totally 27 subject in this examination. Candidates can opt for combination of atmost 2 languages and 6 domain-specific subject or 3 languages and 5 domain-specific tests. As you have to opt for history you can opt for history with other humanity subject which will help you. So choose your subject wisely according the course selection.

For B.A. And B.A. (hons), admissions are done through central university entrance test. Only the eligibility criteria is that you should have 10+2 Maths and the cutoff is high but don't worry. If you are planning for that then go ahead. Give your best.

Hi,
No, you cannot get into colleges that you have not listed in your counseling application.
1. The CUET counseling process is done after the exam to allot colleges to qualified students in participatory universities.
2. Once the CUET exam results are announced by the NTA the respective Central Universities will declare their counseling schedule.
3. You will be required to participate in the counseling process at your preferred university. The university will assign you to a college based on your score and preferences.
4. If you have not listed any college, you will not get a seat allocation in that college even if you meet the qualify

CUCET is now CUET. The Common University Entrance Test CUET (UG) has been introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities for academic session 2022-23 under the Ministry of Education, (MoE). If you have missed attending CUET you can check in their website if any other date is available or not. If not, then you need to wait for a year or go to other colleges.

The NCERT books are the most trusted government books and are used by the NTA in the preparation of question papers. Also, answers given in NCERT are held valid by NTA in the answer key.
