The main campus of CUSAT, also known as Thrikkakara, is situated on nearly 180 acres of nature comprising of trees, sun, and breeze. It is a complex of an administrative building, the School of Engineering, the central library, and other academic buildings besides Cochin University has two more campuses, namely the Lakeside Campus and the Pulincunnu Campus. The three campuses together are equipped with excellent facilities that a student would require to complete his/her studies at CUSAT.

CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology) conducts CUSAT CAT (Common Admission Test), but it is mainly for professional UG courses like B.Tech, Integrated MSc, LLB, etc. For courses like BBA, B.Com, or BA, admission is usually merit-based (Class 12 marks), not through CUSAT CAT.So, CUSAT CAT is compulsory for B.Tech and a few other programs, but not for all UG courses

The accurate placement packages offered to BTech CSE students at CUSAT are yet to be released. The university is soon going to release the placement statistics. However, CUSAT has released the sort of overview of placements, which indicates that the highest package secured by the graduates stood at around INR 25 LPA. One can expect a similar package for BTech students.

Yes. NCERTs should form the base of your preparation since the CUSAT CAT syllabus is the same as mentioned in the NCERTs.

Admission to B.Tech Marine Engineering at CUSAT is done based on a rank list prepared on the IMU CET scores. Candidates must appear and secure a rank in the IMU CET exam and apply for admission at the time of counselling.

The authority will conduct the CUSAT CAT counselling in online mode. However, shortlisted candidates have to report to the allotted college for document verification.

There are 11 BTech programmes at Cochin University of Science and Technology, namely- Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Safety and Fire Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ship Building, Polymer Science & Engineering and Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is a state-government owned autonomous University in Kochi. It has 3 campuses in- Kalamassery, Ernakulam (Kochi) and Kuttanad (Alappuzha).
