Admission to B.Tech Marine Engineering at CUSAT is done based on a rank list prepared on the IMU CET scores. Candidates must appear and secure a rank in the IMU CET exam and apply for admission at the time of counselling.

CUSAT does not provide any management seat for B.Tech they have 50% of seats reserved for people belonging from their state and the rest are paid seats. If you want to take admission in CUSAT for B.Tech you can appear in exams like CUSAT CAT, CET.

No, an IMUCET rank is not required to get admission into CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology). CUSAT has its own entrance examination, called CUSAT CAT (Common Admission Test), for admissions into its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. IMUCET, on the other hand, is an entrance exam for admission into marine and nautical Science programs at institutions affiliated with the Indian Maritime University. Therefore, to get a seat at CUSAT, you would need to appear for and get a good rank in the CUSAT CAT.
