While applying to Dartmouth College MBA, all new applicants must submit two LOR. But reapplicants who applied during most recent admissions cycle need to submit only 1 new LOR from reference who did not write to business school on their behalf last year. Applicants must request LORs from people who can show that they are smart, accomplished, aware and encouraging. If possible, their current direct supervisor should write 1 LORs for them.

Note: LORs from professors who did not supervise professional work, from friends, family members, or coaches, do not enhance the applicant's candidacy.
