Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board will announce the last date to submit the DCECE application form 2026. Candidates will be able to submit the DCECE application form at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

The DCECE application form correction window will be provided for the candidates who have completed the form and submitted the same within the deadline. The last date for form correction is will be notified later. Using the application form correction window, candidates can edit/correct the details in the submitted form, if required. This correction facility is a one-time opportunity. To make changes in the online submitted DCECE application form, candidates have to login to the official website.

BCECEB has announced the DCECE counselling details on the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The counselling process has commenced. The counselling process includes registration, filling and locking of choice, document verification, declaration of seat allotment and reporting to the allotted college. BCECEB releases the admission/ provisional seat allotment list for DCECE counselling online.

After the exam is over, BCECEB uploads the rank card of the DCECE exam for PE, PM and PMM course groups on the official website. Candidates can login to the official website and download the DCECE results for PE, PM, and PMM. Candidates have to use their DCECE roll number and date of birth to check the result. DCECE result is not intimated to the candidates via mail or any offline mode. Candidates have to download the DCECE rank card on their own from the official website. There is no provision for re-evaluation of the result.

In case the candidate has not received DCECE admit card, then candidates have to visit the following address to rectify the error:

BCECE BOARD,  IAS Association Building,  Near Patna Airport,  Patna- 800014

Candidates must visit the address 5 days before the exam day from 11 am to 3 pm on any working day.

DCECE exam dates are subjected to change as seen necessary by the conducting body, DCECE. In past years the exam dates have changed more than once. Any change in the exam date is notified well in advance. Thus, candidates must not worry about any changes in the DCECE exam date as it will be notified to everyone via the official website.

The syllabus for DCECE PM course group is Hindi, English and General Knowledge sections that are of class 12 level. Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) and Quantitative Aptitude that is of class 10 level. In PE course group class 10 level questions are asked from Maths, Physics and Chemistry. For the PMM course group the syllabus is class 10 level questions from Maths, Physics, Hindi, English, General Knowledge and Chemistry.

  • Mode of examination - Offline mode (Pen & paper-based test)
  • Duration of exam - 2 hours and 15 minutes
  • Total questions - 90 questions
  • Total marks – 450 marks
  • Options available - 4 options
  • Correct answer - 5 marks
  • Incorrect answer - No negative marking
  • Type of questions - Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
