Some of the tips for students starting their first-semester at the De Montfort University are:

  • Students who applied for De Montfort University must be humble and should interact with as many people as possible. Mainly beacause, the more people you talk to the better knowledge you get. 
  • Attend as many gathering and parties as much as you can. 
  • Applicants should avoid missing classess, as 70% of learning comes from students going to classes. 
  • Students can get invovlved with extracuricular activities, i.e joing university clubs, sports etc. This will also look good on a portfolio in the longer run.

The ability to communicate in English must be proven for international pupils. A minimum of 5.5 in each band (or equivalent) and an overall IELTS score of 6.0 are required of international applicants. Students can get English language instruction from the British Council-accredited Centre of English Language Learning at any point during the course.

The language of instruction at DMU is English, thus, all international students are required to prove their proficiency in the English Language. IELTS score can be used as evidence of proficiency in the English language. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is accepted all over the world to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. For this course, international students require an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band (or equivalent).

The tuition fee for the 2026/27 academic year for EU and international students is GBP 20,900 or INR 25.47 Lakhs. De Montfort University is a public university and therefore the tuition fee for domestic and international students may vary. MBA (Global) at De Montfort University is a 12 months full-time course for the September intake and 16 months full-time course for the January intake.
