De Montfort University

The ability to communicate in English must be proven for international pupils. A minimum of 5.5 in each band (or equivalent) and an overall IELTS score of 6.0 are required of international applicants. Students can get English language instruction from the British Council-accredited Centre of English Language Learning at any point during the course.

The language of instruction at DMU is English, thus, all international students are required to prove their proficiency in the English Language. IELTS score can be used as evidence of proficiency in the English language. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is accepted all over the world to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. For this course, international students require an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band (or equivalent).

The tuition fee for the 2023/24 academic year for EU and international students is GBP 19,300. De Montfort University is a public university and therefore the tuition fee for domestic and international students may vary. MBA (Global) at De Montfort University is a 12 months full-time course for the September intake and 18 months full-time course for the January intake.

International students are required to demonstrate their proficiency in the English language.  De Montfort University offers a full-time MBA (Global) program. Students must meet the entry requirements to enrol on the MBA programme of De Montfort University. The entry requirements for MBA at DMU are:

• An undergraduate degree in any subject with a minimum pass of 2:2 or equivalent

• A minimum of 5 years of managerial work experience or equivalent

• Portfolio

• English proficiency

• Copy of passport

• Personal statement

• Two letters of references

All international students must meet the essential admission requirements. Students require the following documents:

• A copy of the qualifications

• A copy of the English language certificate

• A personal statement (minimum 500 words)

• A copy of your passport

• One reference for undergraduate and two references for postgraduate courses

• Portfolio

International students can apply to De Montfort University through UCAS for undergraduate courses. The UCAS institution code for DMU is DEM/D26. However, international students applying for graduate courses need to download and complete the DMU’s international application form.

Postgraduate Admission Deadlines for 2023/24

Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies or CAS as the names suggest is a letter issued by the university once your application is accepted at the university. The CAS is a very important legal document that is required to apply for a study visa to the United Kingdom. The CAS letter includes your personal ID, tuition fee amount and outstanding amount to pay, and any scholarship information if rewarded to you. The CAS letter is not issued by De Montfort University until you have made the required deposit payment.

International students whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate their proficiency in the English language. De Montfort University accepts IELTS as evidence for the English language.
