Deakin University

Deakin University was established in the year 1974 with the coming of the Deakin University Act 1974. Deakin University was Victoria's fourth university and was the first one to be established in the regional Victoria area.

Initial Establishment

The first campus of Deakin University was established in the Waurn Ponds location.
