Higher Education Department, Government of Tripura mentions the DEEET 2026 exam pattern in the official notification. DEEET exam will be conducted in offline pen & paper mode for two hours. Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their DEEET admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre.

The DEEET 2026 exam will be available in both English and the Bengali language.

There will be three sections in the DEEET exam: Mathematics, Physical Science/Science (Physics and Chemistry) and English. DEEET question paper will comprise of 40 questions from Mathematics and Physical Science/Science each and 20 questions in the English section.

The Higher Education Department, Government of Tripura mentions the DEEET marking scheme in the official notification. Candidates are advised to refer to the DEEET 2025 marking scheme before appearing in the exam. Applicants will be awarded four marks for each correct answer while there will be a negative marking of one mark for wrong answer. There is no negative marking for questions that are not attempted.
