• Yes, NIEM- National Institute of Event Management Delhi is a recognised institute for event management education in India.
• NIEM's Diploma and degree programs are not directly recognised by UGC,  as event management is not yet a mainstream academic discipline in India. However,  NIEM is affiliated with various recognised universities like Mahatma Gandhi University,  Meghalaya,  for offering UGC-approved degrees.
• Similar to UGC,  AICTE recognition doesn't directly apply to event management programs. However,  NIEM's collaboration with AICTE-approved universities for degree programs ensures national validity.
