Nirf rank of DU is 741. Food technology is the application of food Science to the processing, packaging, preservation, distribution, quality assurance, and utilization of food products. It is an interdisciplinary specialisation that combines different fields such as Engineering, Analytical Chemistry Biotechnology, Quality Control, Health and Nutrition, and Food Safety Management. You can get job in various food companies because they want people who can test the quality of food. You can also get job in research areas in this field. Also there are very less people in this field, so there are a lot of chances of success in this field.

It may vary from college to college. But approximately it will be 30,000 rupees.

Try in another college, but don't lose your hope. You are brilliant student and you'll be doing better.

My preference order would be -

2. DU
-3. IPU
4. SRM
-5. Shiv Nadar
While choosing an engineering college one can consider brand value, ROI, teaching quality. Best wishes.

If you get an opportunity for Janki Devi, then go for it. Also there is one thing that I will share with you that students aspiring for most of the colleges in DU are good. All colleges have highly qualified teachers. Deshbandhu College has very good Placement and is also very good.
