Dear Sakshi, The eligibility for M.Sc. Forensic Science is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc. (Forensic Science or Biology or Physics or Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Biotechnology or Medical Lab. Technology) or B.Pharma. Or MBBS or BDS or BHMS or B.A. MS or equivalent. Forensic Science in LPU is a specially designed programme to produce highly competent professionals in the field, keeping in mind the continuously increasing demand of trained professionals in this area. The Forensic Science domain promises to create a research and placement oriented environment. The department regularly works on student research projects with novel ideas of applied value. Thrust Areas of research: Analysis of drugs by conventional and modern techniques, security feature analysis, Fingerprinting analysis, studies on dentures for disaster victim identification and forensic wildlife analysis.
