Yes you are eligible for the admission in NIFT Bangalore, based on the below information. Out of all BDes courses, the cutoff of NIFT Bangalore is high for B. Des Fashion Communication and the expected cutoff range is 105-200. The B. Des Fashion Communication expected cutoff is 600-710 for the OBC category,  1100-1300 for EWS, 2000-2500 for SC and 2500-3000 for the ST category. So, an EWS category can get admission in NIFT Bangalore for Fashion Communication. I hope this information is useful.

Yes, the NIFT cut-off will be released for all the courses. Also, the cut-off will be institute-specific.

Note that there are currently 18 colleges that are participating in NIFT 2024 admission process.

The cut-off for these institutes will be based on the number of applications, seat intake for the courses they offer, and the merit rank of candidates.

Typically, higher ranked institutes attract more number of candidates as well as more number of higher-ranked candidates.

This in turn pushes the cut-off higer.

So, if you intend to get admission to a top college, better have a good rank or score.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is conducting the NIFT 2024 counseling process is four regular rounds, followed by a SPOT round.

Note that separate cut-offs will be released for each round.

The cut-off will be based on factors like:

  1. merit rank of the candidate
  2. catgory applied for admission
  3. seat intake
  4. total applicants, etc.

If a candidate doesn't meet the cut-off for an admission round, he or she will be considered in the subsequent round. However, if one fails to meet the cut-off of the last round, one may not get admission at all.

  • The NTA releases an official answer key for the GAT section. This would allow students to estimate their scores by comparing their answers to the official ones.
  • However, there is no official answer key released for the Creative Ability Test because it's an evaluation based on subjective criteria like creativity, innovation, and design skills.

It is difficult to put a specific number as to how many sample papes one needs to solve. But that being said, you must try at least 10 sample papers. Also, make sure that the sample papers covers the entire syllabus and are not repetitative.

For instance, some sample papers may contain the same types of questions, though the language may be altered a bit.

If you need to get the maximum out of the sample papers, their content needs to be different.

Also, along with sample papers solve practice questions, typically given at the end of a chapter or book.
