NID DAT is one of the toughest entrance exams in the land. Also, given the large number of applicants, it is highely competitive.

So, to have a chance of scoring a good score in the exam and be in the contetion for a seat in one of the top NIDs, one needs to ensure their preparation is full proof.

Now unless you solve sample papers, there is no way to evaluate your preparedness for the exam. For instance, you may have completed the textual books and are confident about your ability to solve a proble. The NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is a two-step entrance exam. The candidate first appears in DAT Prelims. If shortlisted, the candidate has to next appear in DAT Mains.

BRDS has received a total of 1910 choices at NID since 2005. In 2023, 270 BRDS students are chosen to attend NID. There were 56 final selections for NID M.Design and 214 final selections for NID B.Design. BRDS is the source of all India Ranks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 NID. 94 pupils rank among the top 100. The National Institute of Design offers candidates the opportunity to request a recheck of their NID DAT 2024 Prelims results. The result re-check window was open from May 21-22, 2024 (4 pm). Earlier, the DAT Prelims result for the B.Des programme was declared on April 4, 2024. The NID DAT 2024 (Prelims) exam was conducted on December 24, 2023. The National Institute of Design (NID) declared the B.Des DAT Mains 2024 result on May 21, 2024. The FINAL result is prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. There will be several stages to the NIFT 2024 exam. For example, in order to be admitted to the B. Des programme, an applicant must first pass the written GAT and CAT tests. If they are selected for further consideration, they must then take a Situation Test. Candidates for M.Des who make the short list must attend a personal interview rather than the situation test. The syllabus for the NIFT 2024 exam has already been released as the exam has been conducted. The NIFT releases the syllabus for the entrance exam along with the official brochure or prospectus, typically several months before the exam date.
