Design students at IILM University aren't strictly required to stay back on campus after class hours, but many choose to work on projects or use facilities like studios and labs. The design department encourages collaboration, so you'll likely find peers working together in campus spaces.

Digital tools and software are typically introduced to design students at IILM University, Gurugram, in the early semesters. Students get hands-on training with industry-standard software like:

- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Sketching and Wireframing Tools: Figma, SketchUp

This early exposure helps students build digital skills alongside foundational design concepts.
