Masters in Digital Media is not a bad course and is definitely worth pursuing after B.Sc. In Visual Communication. Add more details about the other courses available too. Your consultancy agent could be telling truth and you should listen to his advice given he is from a trusted consultancy. Also add more tags to your question. So, experts in field could answer too.

Yes, it is 100% true that IT syllabus is outdated. IT syllabus does not includes new technologies. So, it would be very good if you do online course in any current technologies.

After engineering graduation, I feel, it's the best to go for a PG Diploma in this field. After this, you can start your own business also. You should go for PG if you intend to enter teaching profession.
