Hi Sowmiya!
It is up to you whether you want to be a costume designer or get into research field. You can start your career now and look for a job if your interest lies with core costume designing industry. If you wish to enhance your knowledge base, become a lecturer in design, pursue M.Phil or get into research field, pursuing M.Sc will make sense.

Regular MBA is always preferable over distance MBA. MBA is hardly ever about the books and academics, but mostly about the practical applications and collaborative development of personality. Hence if you are inclined towards design, join some course. This will help you focus on the only relevant part of your vision. While MBA will help you holistically, the course designed will cater to your specific skill set.
Good luck.
