I will suggest you to do B.Tech first from mechanical branch. Here you will learn the core of IC engines and factors they depend on. Then qualify NIED exam and learn designing. You can also learn designing on CAD software in B.Tech.

Did you do any course related to sketching? If not, there is an internship program from EXPERTSHUB in summer in Delhi and other places. Check it & go for it. Download tutorials from YouTube. Sketching apo is available on playstore to learn basics.

So, you want to become a fashion designer and start your own label - and also participate in fashion shows. So, for this, take up a degree course in fashion designing from top fashion institutes like NID or NIFT. Otherwise, Pearl Academy and IIFT is also good.
You donot have to choose subjects - the subjects are integral part of the course material.
In FD - you will learn sketching / designing / pattern making basics / CAD / illustrator / graphics etc. All these are important to understand the concept and possibility of a design to culminate in result.
So all the very best. Prepare for enterance and get admission in best colleges.

Both are different areas. Event Management is more closer to Hospitality Administration / Management. So, event management companies prefer hotel Management graduates for key positions.
