If you are in class 12 then you can take up any stream it wouldn't matter. However, if you have electives in school then you can choose arts as a subject through which you can develop your interest in drawing.
If you have passed class 12 then:
You could take up certificate courses (6 months-1 year), diploma (1 year-2 years) or degree programme (3 years-5 years). Degree programmes might require you to take entrance exams of respective universities and prepare a portfolio.

Hello Naina,There are a lot of courses at courses. It would require will power to do it yourself. If you find it difficult to manage it, then you can go for a course at some good institute. Usual Graphics and Web Design course is 12-15 months on normal track. You will be equipped for graphic design as well as PHP based opensource website integration, UI Design, etc. Besides, web design and flash animation and apps at the end of this period.

According to my experience, lots of career scope in animation, VFX and Designing field. Animation and VFX is biggest part of Media and Entertainment industry.
