Your degree or Diploma in fashion design does not matter for employers. What really matters is your portfolio. If you have a strong portfolio and your work is good, you may find a good placement. However, the package should not be a constraint. Good brands may not offer big packages but to get associated with them is a big thing. You may get hired by the best designers at low package initially, but if your work is good then you may see a good raise in a very short time.

It depends on you. Every design field is unique. If you have interest in product designing then opt for the same, but you need to struggle a lot if you opt for product designing course.
